What Is the Mini Goldendoodle Breed?

A Mini Goldendoodle dog is a hybrid cross of a Golden Retriever or F1 Goldendoodle mom and a Miniature Poodle dad. This combination has the benefits of providing a dog with the wonderful temperament of the golden retriever with minimal shedding. The puppies are a healthier and a more hypo allergenic than the Golden Retriever in a compact size.

Country Mini Doodle Farms Mini Goldendoodles only breed what we consider are true F1 (First Generation) Mini Goldendoodles and F1b Mini and Toy Goldendoodles. We never do multigeneration Goldendoodles (goldendoodle bred back to goldendoodle) as we would not know whether the parents will pass more golden or poodle traits to their puppies. With the crosses we breed and with our proven miniature poodle dads, we know what to expect from our puppies. That is why you probably will notice a difference in the way our Country Mini Doodle Farms Mini Goldendoodles look from other goldendoodle breeders. Many will be breeding multi-generation as they have no way to breed successfully artificially which is required to do a true mini or toy. All our puppies are bred using non-surgical trans-cervical artificial insemination which is the only way to get a True Mini or Toy Goldendoodle.

F1 MINI GOLDENDOODLES

These first generation mini goldendoodles are the result of non-surgical trans-cervical artificial insemination between a golden retriever mom and miniature poodle dad. This is the hybrid vigor cross that results in a smaller and healthier dog. Our minis typically weigh between 25-40 lbs. full grown.

F1B MINI GOLDENDOODLES

This a cross between a standard F1 Goldendoodle and a Miniature Poodle. These also are artificially inseminated. This cross adds more hypo allergenic qualities as they are ¾ poodle and ¼ Golden Retriever. These are a great option for families with dog allergies. Our minis typically weigh between 25-40 lbs. full grown.

F1B TOY GOLDENDOODLES

This is a cross between a Mini Goldendoodle and a Miniature Poodle. These also are artificially inseminated. This cross adds more hypo allergenic qualities and further downsizes the puppies. These are great for families with dog allergies and/or want a smaller dog. Our toys typically weigh between 15-25 lbs. full grown.
